The Kairos Centre will be closing

VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR KAIROS CENTRE VISITORS

We are sorry to have to confirm, that due to the new national restrictions coming into place from Thursday 5th November 2020, the Kairos Centre will be closed from 5th November to 2nd December 2020.

We will be contacting all of the retreatants with bookings during this period in chronological order to discuss and rearrange your booking.

Please do not visit the Kairos Centre if you have any of the following symptoms:

a high temperature, a new continuous cough, a loss of, or change to, your sense of smell or taste, because of covid-19 you need to self isolate and/or have been contacted and asked to self-isolate by the government track and test system .

You should stay at home and seek medical advice immediately.

Please let us know if you need to cancel your retreat and we will try to arrange an alternative date for your visit.

If symptoms (high temperature, persistent cough or loss of taste/smell) develop whilst you are here, please inform a member of staff immediately and urgently seek medical advice. We have the resources to check your temperature, should you need reassurance or are feeling unwell.

During your stay, please wash your hands or use the sanitiser stations set up around the building frequently.

We ask all our guests to be conscious of social distancing, especially within areas of communal use.

You should bring an adequate supply of facemasks with you. From the 24th September, it is mandatory to wear a face covering in all communal areas in hospitality venues and places of worship, except where you are seated to eat or drink.

To help maintain social distancing, the lift will be available for sole usage only.

In the dining room, meals will be served at the table and guests asked to remain seated at their table until the end of the meal. A socially distanced, named place will be allocated for you to use for all meals throughout your visit. Service Staff will be wearing PPE (gloves, face coverings and serving bibs) for everyone’s safety.

Where it is no longer possible for refreshments to be served communally, additional beverages and biscuits will be available in your bedroom and refills will always be available on request.

If you are attending a Kairos Preached Retreat or a Kairos Individually Guided Retreat, we will ask you to use the same socially distanced chair, during guided time, throughout your visit.

In line with government regulation and to assist with the efforts to contain the virus, NHS trace, track and test services may be provided with your contact details.

Please be assured that the health and safety of all our guests and staff will always remain our priority and that the Centre will continue to adapt to ensure that it remains a Covid-19 secure environment.

We are most grateful for your co-operation as we all move forward together in these uncertain times.
