My Name is Sr Ursula and I am a volunteer on a Saturday Morning. I love meeting the many different groups who come here for one or more days. This is such an enriching experience for me and keeps me fit as I show the varied groups to their rooms!
I also benefit from occasionally attending talks and masses. Kairos has such a wonderful atmosphere where everybody finds a welcome. I love my Saturday mornings.
I’m Eileen a retired secretary who is married and lives in Ealing. I was introduced to the Kairos Centre by my husband Robin Burgess. We stayed at the Centre during Christmas 2013 and, as I had just retired at that time and the sisters mentioned that they needed volunteers, I agreed to help out.
I became a volunteer in 2014 helping out in Reception and whatever other jobs were required of me. Although it is not a busy job, I am happy that I give the sisters a couple of hours break from their busy schedules. The Kairos Centre is a very peaceful, spiritual and loving place which seems so far away from the hustle and bustle of the outside world. I very much enjoy helping and talking to people who visit the Centre.
